"Reija Lee is operating in a zone only few can dream about."
- Declan Byrne, Triple J
From her days as one of half of much-loved dubstep duo Kito & Reija Lee, to vocal features with the likes of Zeds Dead, Shockone, Paces and Metrik, Reija Lee has been a prominent feature in the global electronic community for a number of years now.
She’s proven her ability to transcend genres, not only succeeding in the world of dance music, but also rap - having been sampled by urban heavyweights such as Outkast’s Big Boi, T.I., Ludacris and Trinidad James. But now she’s stepping out on her own to follow her truest passion – pop.
Her debut single Love Nobody premiered on Triple J’s Good Nights last year, and has been soaring ever since. A collaborative effort alongside Melbourne hit maker Styalz Fuego (Illy, Peking Duk), Love Nobody quickly entered into Triple J spot rotation, and Reija was selected as a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist and winner of the Triple J Listen Out competition. Keeping the performance momentum going, she has wowed audiences with her live band from show to show, festival to festival, and supported the likes of Kira Puru and Luke Million.
2020 will see a re-birth of Reija Lee's sound, with her debut album imminent - and you'll never guess what it sounds like.
